Al Jazeera Media Network reported in an urgent statement on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, that its websites and operating systems are being subjected to cyberattack attempts, "aimed at disrupting publishing and broadcasting systems in conjunction with the coverage of the war on Gaza."
Al Jazeera Media Network clarified that "most of the attacks originated from digital addresses linked to a party involved in the ongoing conflict, some of which used techniques to hide their true origin."
Al Jazeera also affirmed that it reserves the legal right to pursue and hold accountable anyone behind this targeting.
