Mexico has recorded 155 deaths due to rising temperatures since last March, including 30 cases last week.
The Mexican Ministry of Health stated in its weekly report that at least 2,567 people have suffered from a health problem related to high temperatures since March 17, warning that most areas will continue to face high temperatures.
Ten Mexican cities broke records for high temperatures in May, with the highest temperature ever recorded in Mexico City on May 25, while water levels in many dams fell to critical levels, despite rainfall in some areas hit by tropical storm "Alberto" this week.
