Journalists from all media outlets around the world suffer to obtain information amid the complicated situation in Gaza with the start of a new ground attack and the continued Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip.
Tri Engst, a 30-year-old correspondent for "Fox News" network, told "Axios" website that "the worst aspect of humanity has been on display" during the ongoing war in Gaza.
He added: "There are some moments we do not talk about, where you smell death, the smell clings to your clothes and hair."
Engst continued that "access to Gaza has become more difficult with the advance of the war, we are facing an access problem related to entering the closed military zone on the Gaza border, we are doing our utmost to get where we can."
Engst covered a large number of conflicts and wars, including the war in Ukraine, but he said about covering the war in Gaza: "I have seen some of the most horrific things that can be done to humans."
This war has indeed proven to be one of the deadliest wars for journalists in recent memory, as the Committee to Protect Journalists estimates that no fewer than 31 journalists have lost their lives so far.
The Israeli army said on Tuesday that it is engaged in "fierce battles" inside the Gaza Strip with Hamas fighters.
The statement added: "The forces attacked a Hamas camp in the northern sector, the forces eliminated a number of fighters and anti-tank missile cells and anti-tank missile launch sites."
Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee said on Tuesday that Israeli forces have launched another ground attack on Hamas and the rest of the organizations in the Gaza Strip.
