The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has announced its desire to hire a group of individuals as tax auditors at its locations across the country, with good salaries and no need for a degree or any experience.
As a tax auditor at the agency, you will conduct audits on income tax or selective taxes for companies, trusts, and other entities to ensure compliance with the laws governed by the CRA.
There are also several positions that may be included in this recruitment process, including income tax auditor, selective tax auditor, GST/HST reviewer, and business quality assurance officer, with salaries ranging between $64,605 and $84,590 annually.
It is worth mentioning that people living in Canada, Canadian citizens living abroad, and permanent residents can apply for these jobs.
As for the required qualifications, it is enough to be eligible for a position from a recognized professional accounting association or have a post-secondary degree specializing in accounting, but no prior work experience is needed.
The agency promises to provide many benefits to its employees, including flexible work schedules, regular and sick leave, a healthcare plan, a pension plan, the possibility of remote work, and more.
According to the agency, the deadline for tax auditor job applications is June 30, 2023, at 11:59 PM.
