FIFA announced the scheduling of the two remaining matches of the European qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The federation confirmed that after consultation with the UEFA Champions League and the relevant member associations, it is now possible to confirm the dates of the two remaining matches of the European qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which include Ukraine.
The European play-off match between Scotland and Ukraine will take place on June 1, while the winner will face the Wales national football team on June 5 in the final qualifiers for the remaining European spot in the main football event at the end of the year.
The rescheduled matches have led to adjustments in the UEFA Nations League calendar for some matches to accommodate the postponed games.
FIFA expressed its gratitude to all concerned parties for the strong spirit of solidarity and cooperation that helped reach this unanimous decision.
