Thousands of people will take to the streets of the capital this weekend to spend the weekend at the Ottawa Tamarack Race.

Ian Fraser, head of Race Weekend, said: "We are all ready to go." "In the past two weeks I really haven't thought about the Tamarack Ottawa Race weekend. I was more worried about the destruction happening in our city."

Fraser says Race Weekend is a "positive" for the city. Fraser said, "We are very happy to be back in person."

Race weekend schedule

* Saturday

-Ottawa Kids Marathon - 2 PM

-Ottawa 3 PM - 2K

-Ottawa 4 PM - 5K

-Ottawa 6:30 PM -10K

* Sunday

-Ottawa Marathon - 7 AM

-Ottawa Half Marathon - 9 AM

Where is the start/finish line located

The start and finish lines for the Tamarack Ottawa Race weekend are around Ottawa City Hall.

The start and finish line for the Ottawa Kids Marathon is located on Laurier Street.

The start lines for the other races are located in the Elgin Street and Laurier Avenue area, with the finish line at Queen Elizabeth Driveway.
