The construction process of 18 housing units to shelter the homeless in Lachine Montreal is expected to start after raising donations amounting to 5 million dollars.
The donation of 5 million dollars came from the Tenaquip Foundation, where the CEO Michael Fitzgerald said: "We are very excited about the start of the project and its acceleration."
"We are at the point where we are ready to start laying the ground together." The CEO of Tenaquip said, "Yes, we are very excited about that."
He added: "Homelessness is increasing all the time, not only in Montreal but across Canada, and we need to find a way not only to provide first aid and give them a hot meal in bed, but to reintegrate them into society."
