She recorded the situation in a video clip, and said that one of the supervisors told her that she would not be able to board the plane the next day unless she deleted the video clip she recorded of the situation.

Chiu asked another employee to help her, and indeed she managed to rebook her flight. The employee refused to give her the booking reference and asked her to return the next day.

Chiu stated that it is unfortunate that she has to announce her experience to get help, especially since she declared that she was afraid of being arrested.

On the other hand, a representative of the airline commented on this situation via an email message, the message stated, "We sincerely apologize to Ms. Chiu for the inconvenience she felt during her recent travel experience," and the company also offered her a re-accommodation.
