The Toronto Police announced that they are searching for a sword attack perpetrator, which resulted in one person being seriously injured, on Monday.
The police stated that the suspect is a man armed with a sword, wearing black clothes and white gloves. Earlier, the police said he wore a ski mask to resemble a "horror movie character."
Initial reports spoke of two injured as a result of the attack.
Following the operation, "North View Heights" high school was closed, but the police did not officially clarify whether the incident occurred inside the school campus or in the nearby area.
It was not immediately clear whether the suspect was a student of the school.
