A new study from Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection (BHTP), based in Wisconsin, in its ninth edition, revealed that Canada is among the safest countries to travel to in 2024.
BHTP surveyed travelers, asking them about the destinations they traveled to in the past five years and what they consider to be a safe destination.
The travelers' assessments were supplemented with other information, such as data from the Global Peace Index, travel safety ratings issued by the U.S. Department of State, and the average GeoSure Global scores for major cities in each country.
Canada deservedly received the first place according to the study
