Canada condemns the Taliban's suppression of women's freedom in Afghanistan

In a tweet on Twitter a little while ago, Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly said that Canada condemns the Taliban's repression of women's freedom in Afghanistan.

She explained that as the Taliban continues this discriminatory practice, girls are deprived of the prospects of a better life.

She added that access to education is a human right for every woman and every girl.
