Bahrain's Minister of Industry and Commerce, Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, discussed with the European Union's Special Representative for the Gulf region, Luigi Di Maio, ways to enhance the desired progress between both sides in all areas, especially economic ones.

Bahrain News Agency "BNA" reported on Monday that the two sides discussed, during the meeting, several issues and topics of mutual interest, and the means to enhance joint cooperation mechanisms.

During the meeting, the Bahraini minister praised the close friendship and distinguished cooperation between the Kingdom and the European Union, highlighting the mutual commitment to enhancing cooperation fields to meet the aspirations of both sides and support common interests.

In a related context, Bahrain's Minister of Industry and Commerce, Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, discussed with the Chairman of the Canadian Arab Business Council, Dr. Mohammed Al-Suwaff, ways to enhance economic and trade cooperation and investment partnership between the two sides.

During the meeting, the Bahraini minister praised the role of the Canadian Arab Business Council in shaping the common economic visions between both sides and working to open new horizons that include many areas, pointing to the importance of the private sector's role in strengthening joint relations and increasing the volume of trade exchanges.

Fakhro pointed out the facilities provided by the Kingdom of Bahrain to attract global projects and benefit from these advantages, which have significantly contributed to making the Kingdom a destination and first choice for many strategic and developmental projects.
