Ottawa: Ukraine can use Canadian military equipment inside Russia

The federal government stated that the Ukrainian army can use the military equipment provided by Canada inside Russia.

A spokesperson for national defense clarified that Canada does not impose any geographic restrictions on the military equipment donated to Ukraine.

This statement comes after Ukraine launched a surprise military attack on Russia earlier this month.

This unprecedented attack utilizes Ukrainian military units on Russian territory.

Ottawa has pledged to provide 4 billion dollars in military aid to Ukraine until 2029.

This includes Leopard 2 main battle tanks, armored combat support vehicles, M777 howitzers, and ammunition.
