York Regional Police have issued an arrest warrant across Canada for a suspect in connection with the murder of real estate agent Yoke Ting Anita Moy.

The family of Moy, 56, reported her missing on August 9.

Her new Mercedes-Benz GLE450 was found in the Finch Avenue East and Warden Avenue area of Toronto on the same day she disappeared, in the afternoon.

Three days later, on August 12, Moy's remains were found burned on a property in Parry Sound, Ontario.

On Wednesday, police said Chek Xiong Marco, a 47-year-old, is now wanted on a charge of first-degree murder in Moy's death.

They did not specify what his alleged connection to Moy is. However, they said they have seized a vehicle linked to him - a 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van with Ontario license plate CWHW720.

Police said last week that they believe a van of the same make and model was used to transport Moy to the property on Afro Arrow Road and Highway 400 where her body was found.

They added on Wednesday that they also seized another vehicle linked to him - a gray 2021 Porsche Cayenne SUV with Ontario license plate CTZT172.

York Regional Police stated: "Investigators also believe this Porsche may have had a different license plate on August 9, 2024, or in the days leading up to that date."

Police are asking anyone who may have seen the vehicles to contact investigators.

He is the fourth suspect in the investigation into Moy's disappearance, but he is the only one so far who is alleged to be linked to her death. Police said last week that three juveniles found in possession of Moy's belongings are facing charges of fraud under $5,000. One of them is also facing weapon possession charges, and they cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
