The Arab League Council at the level of Arab foreign ministers during its extraordinary session confirmed the immediate cessation of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip and the escalation in the region.

The council called in a resolution titled "The Ongoing Israeli Aggression Against the Palestinian People" at the conclusion of the extraordinary session of the Arab League Council at the level of Arab foreign ministers on Wednesday, chaired by Morocco, for all parties to exercise restraint and warned of the catastrophic humanitarian and security repercussions of the continued escalation and its expansion, and to work with the international community to launch urgent and effective action to achieve this, in implementation of international law, and to protect the security and stability of the region from the danger of expanding cycles of violence that everyone will pay the price for.

The foreign ministers condemned in the resolution read by the Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ambassador Hossam Zaki, during a press conference held at the conclusion of the extraordinary session of the council, the killing of civilians from both sides and targeting them, as well as all actions that contravene international law and international humanitarian law.

The ministers also emphasized the necessity of protecting civilians, in line with common human values and international law, and the necessity of releasing civilians and all prisoners and detainees.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the actions of the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip, describing the use of internationally banned weapons and cutting off basic supplies as genocide against the Palestinians.

As the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation enters its fifth day, Palestinian factions continue to launch rockets while Israeli mobilization around Gaza escalates, coinciding with increasing tensions in the north and intensifying political movement.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported today, Wednesday, that 1,055 Palestinians have been killed and 5,184 others have been injured with various wounds.
