The decision was to soar with our dream and goals high for those who love culture and appreciate the value of the word. This was not an easy matter, especially since the newspaper is Arabic-speaking in a diaspora full of challenges and responsibilities.

We made this decision despite the bitterness of accusations and the depth of hatred practiced against this newspaper, which reflected unprecedented ignorance in thought and behavior of people who were given the opportunity to elevate themselves, but they refused except to live among pits, lurking here and there and throwing accusations without awareness or knowledge, indeed without conscience, thus siding with the inherited narrative they carried with them from their homeland and the stereotype of the repressive security apparatus in their countries which works to direct the media and control everything issued by it until it became hired in speech and action.

These individuals have not freed themselves from this negative stereotype, and they lost the opportunity to liberate themselves from this intellectual slavery, and instead enjoy the stereotypical freedom granted to them by Canadian identity to help themselves and others launch into the space of initiative, creativity, production, and hard work so that they can distinguish between the worthless and the valuable, and between painful memories residing in their memory and what they are in today, to live the present which gives them hope and the ability to think logically and soundly.

Therefore, Arab Canada newspaper did not retreat but drew a path of challenge and insistence that there is no alternative to the success it achieved except more success and moving towards the better for distinction, survival, and continuity.

Despite the difficulty of the road and the challenges surrounding it, Arab Canada newspaper persevered and continued on its path with great effort and strong determination for success. It has carried the responsibility to proceed on a path we knew was rugged and difficult and required a lot of effort. Therefore, every time arrows were directed at it, our determination increased to find a new way to renew it, update it, and increase its components until it becomes an Arab media institution with a thought, vision, and independent identity, respected by enlightened and cultured minds who began to await its issues and follow-up to explore all its aspects and communicate with us for constructive criticism or to provide proposals for its advancement.

Today, Arab Canada newspaper, issuing its sixtieth issue, sends a message to all those who tried to stand as an obstacle in its way that it will continue, renew, grow, and become an Arab media title in the diaspora to be a professional reference and gain great trust for every newcomer who wants to understand the reality awaiting him in the diaspora, and for every resident who is driven by longing and hope that strong bridges connect him to his authentic Arab culture and that there are those who work to preserve his identity by continuing to provide all that is beautiful in the Arabic language.

Today, we proudly say that many of those who tried to defame us, doubt our journey, hurt our feelings, belittle our work, and despise our effort and struggle have become today praising our work after they became convinced that we are neither crazy nor hired nor follow any agendas as they thought, since from the beginning we were keen that our word would be free, honest, and sincere. We faced challenges with firmness, balanced thought, and a comprehensive vision commensurate with the responsibilities entrusted to us to remain worthy of the trust of those who believed in our thought, those who encouraged us, and those who exerted effort alongside us so that Arab Canada News remains a living and ongoing intellectual beacon.

Today, Arab Canada newspaper is no longer confined to traditional work but has renewed and issued updated editions of its digital version to provide the best services and thus be ahead of all its fellow newspapers that serve the Arab communities and others.
