To prepare for the challenges posed by rapidly changing technology, Algonquin College offers programming and computer analysis enthusiasts the opportunity to join a new program presented by the college in partnership with several universities in Ontario.
The program will specialize in the design, development, and deployment of information systems through software development and systems analysis.

Furthermore, learners will gain skills in cybersecurity, entrepreneurship, and business.

As for joining the program, which lasts three years, it will enable participants to obtain a recognized certificate/diploma for entering the labor market, where almost all industry sectors in Canada require programmers, according to Sandra Brancatelli, the Academic Chair of Information and Communication Technology at Algonquin College, who also explained that "the cooperative version of the Computer Analysis and Programming program provides students with the opportunity to develop their skills in the workplace while building their professional network. This program also prepares them for work in software development and systems analysis by building on high-level professional learning outcomes."

Also, registration will be available for graduates of Ontario colleges holding certificates in computer programming to continue their studies, as currently, Sault College is participating in the program according to the university president Claude Brouillet, with other colleges expected to join in the future.
