About 14,000 Americans signed a petition addressed to the management of the technology giant company "Google," demanding respect for the rights of its employees who support Palestinian rights and not to retaliate against them based on their opposition to joint projects of the company with the Israeli apartheid state.
The petition stated that "thousands of workers at Google and Amazon companies have demanded their employers to terminate the contracts of the two companies with the Israeli government, including the Nimbus project, which costs one billion dollars.
It referred to the case of the Google employee Ariel Koreen, who spoke publicly against these contracts in support of the rights of Palestinians, where Google's management tried to force her to give up her position.
The petition said: "Workers have the right to speak about how their work is used without fear of losing their jobs, especially when working under unethical contracts that violate human rights."
It confirmed its support for hundreds of Google employees who signed a petition supporting Ariel Koreen and demanded the company's management to respect the employees who defend human rights.”
