Winnipeg police provided details of the Friday accident between a train and a car. The accident occurred in the Birdmore Boulevard area near De Foss Road around 5:45 pm.
The police said a car was hit by a train at the railway crossing. There were two people in the car, both men, and they were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
A witness at the scene told CTV News that the car was pushed hundreds of meters down the track. Roads in the area were closed at the time of the accident.
