Today, Saturday, the decisive round draw for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, scheduled to be held in Qatar, was held; resulting in two fiery confrontations between Egypt and Senegal and Algeria and Cameroon.

The draw was held in the city of Douala in Cameroon, which is currently hosting the Africa Cup of Nations.

10 teams qualified for the third decisive round, namely: Senegal, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Nigeria, Egypt, Cameroon, Ghana, Mali, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Thus, the two colleagues in English Liverpool, Egyptian Mohamed Salah and Senegalese Sadio Mane, will face each other, while the English Manchester City star Riyad Mahrez will seek to secure a place for the "Desert Warriors" in the Qatari World Cup, after the harsh exit of the titleholder from the first round of the Africa Cup of Nations.

The ten teams were divided into two tiers based on the FIFA ranking for November 2021, so the higher-ranked teams, which are Senegal, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, and Nigeria, will play against the five lower-ranked teams (the first leg matches will be held on the grounds of the lower-ranked teams).

The decisive round will be held between March 21 and 29, in a home and away system.

The draw results were as follows:

Egypt - Senegal

Cameroon - Algeria

Ghana - Nigeria

Democratic Republic of the Congo - Morocco
