The death toll from the war launched by Israel on Gaza has risen to 10,569 martyrs after a new massacre committed by the occupation forces in the central sector today, Wednesday.
Today, the Israeli occupation committed a new massacre as a result of bombing a house belonging to the Shehada family in Al-Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip, which resulted in the martyrdom of 18 Palestinians, according to the Ministry of Interior in Gaza.
Two citizens were martyred in an Israeli raid on the Abu Salim area in the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central sector.
In Khan Younis, the death toll due to the targeting of the occupation planes targeting the Saloot family house in the Al-Zanna area rose to 6 martyrs.
The Ministry of Interior announced the recovery of a number of martyrs due to the Israeli bombing last night on the areas of Al-Tawahen Street and the market in the Al-Shuja'iya neighborhood east of Gaza City.
Thus, the death toll of the Israeli war on Gaza rises to 10,569 martyrs, including 4,324 children, 2,823 women, and 649 elderly, in addition to 26,475 injured since last October 7.
Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, said, “The Israeli occupation continues to commit genocidal crimes.. and the international community remains incapable of stopping the brutal aggression.”
Al-Qudra explained during a press conference that the Israeli occupation committed 27 massacres during the past hours, resulting in 241 martyrs.
He pointed out that 49% of the victims during the past hours were from the southern Gaza Strip, denying the Israeli occupation’s claim that these are safe areas.
He indicated the rise in the number of massacres committed by the occupation against Palestinian families to 1,098 families.
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health also reported receiving 2,550 reports of missing persons, including 1,350 children still under the rubble, since the beginning of the aggression.
He said, “The Israeli occupation targeted medical teams, resulting in the martyrdom of 193 medical staff and the destruction of 45 ambulances.”
He added, “120 medical facilities were targeted, and 18 hospitals and 40 health centers were out of service due to targeting and fuel depletion.”
He pointed out that hospitals are currently operating on secondary generators to run intensive care units, operating rooms, and emergency departments only, while the rest of the hospital parts have no electricity.
He said, “We are trying to operate dialysis service for some time to save the lives of kidney failure patients.”
He confirmed that the secondary electric generators represent the last artery for hospital operations, and if they stop during the coming hours, hundreds of injured and patients will be killed.
He added, “The Israeli occupation increases the threat to hospitals and repeats its demand to evacuate Al-Rantisi Specialized Children’s Hospital, which exposes the lives of patients, injured, and thousands of displaced people to the risk of death.”
He called on the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross to be present inside hospitals to stop Israeli threats and protect the health system, and to allow its crews to carry out their purely humanitarian tasks.
He also called on all parties to work immediately to provide a safe humanitarian corridor for the entry of medical supplies, fuel, medical teams, and the evacuation of thousands of injured.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced the reduction of services at Al-Quds Hospital in the Gaza Strip due to fuel shortage.
The society pointed to an Israeli bombing that was carried out by occupation forces near Al-Quds Hospital.
On the 33rd day of the war on Gaza, Israeli occupation aircraft and artillery continue their intensive raids on various areas in the besieged sector.
