The sister of the North Korean leader said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky "is mistaken in believing that the American nuclear umbrella will protect his country from Russia."
The Korean Central News Agency quoted Kim Yo Jong, sister of Kim Jong Un, saying in a statement: "Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is risking his country and has a political ambition to obtain nuclear weapons. If Zelensky believes he can avoid the strong Russian fire by entering 'under the already perforated American nuclear umbrella,' he is definitely on the wrong path.
She added: "The Ukrainian authorities have an incurable paranoia about their ability to defeat Russia... The fact that Zelensky makes a fuss about bringing nuclear weapons from the United States is a very dangerous manifestation of political ambition to maintain his survival by any means, even by gambling with the fate of his country and people."
It is noteworthy that the sister of the North Korean leader, the "second figure" in power, responsible for relations with South Korea and the United States, had previously condemned American aid to Ukraine, saying: "We will always stand on the same battlefield with the Russian army and people."
