The Conservative Party is allocating funds for the upcoming elections and plans to reach a spending cap of $30 million for the Canadian elections.

Additionally, the president of fundraising for the federal Conservatives stated on Friday that the Conservatives have significant funds and will spend more than previously planned to launch additional advertisements promoting leader Pierre Poilievre.

As part of the campaign, the party launched a multi-million dollar advertising campaign depicting the leader as a family man, one of which features his wife Anna and their two daughters. In another ad, he is calmly reading his main message.

The Canadian Conservatives are reintroducing their leader to Canadians through a $3 million advertising campaign that some insiders say is a step to rebrand him in a softer light.

These advertisements, long known for their 'attack dog' style in Parliament, are part of a deliberate effort to soften his image and make him more appealing to swing voters in the upcoming election.

The ads have appeared on television - including during high-rated Toronto Blue Jays games in late summer - and on radio, digital platforms, and in print media.

"More ads are ready to be aired"

Based on their apparent success so far, Rob Staley, chair of the Conservatives and former lawyer for former Prime Minister Stephen Harper, stated that the party will use its surplus to launch similar ads in the coming months.

The campaign has been and remains successful, Staley said in a speech early in the morning to delegates gathered in Quebec City for the party's policy conference: "We have more ads ready to be aired."

He also added: "We have a lot to say to Canadians about the failures of the Trudeau government, and we will do that."

Staley stated that the party is determined to outspend the governing Liberals in the lead-up to the next election.

For his part, the Conservative leader has ditched the glasses and started wearing more casual attire in an effort to broaden his appeal to voters.
