The United States has announced a cash reward of five million dollars for information related to the bombing of a plane in Panama in 1994, which was attributed to Lebanese Hezbollah and resulted in the death of 21 people.

According to a statement issued by the U.S. Department of State and the Washington Embassy in Panama, which was reported by Al-Hurra television today, a person named Ali Hawa Jamal, who also died in the blast, has been identified as a suspect believed to have brought the bomb onto the plane.

The plane belonging to flight number (901) of "Alas Chiricanas" exploded in mid-air after taking off from an airport in the Panamanian city of Colón, killing all its passengers, most of whom were from the Jewish community, including three Americans.
