During his participation in the customary annual dinner of the Representative Council of Jewish Institutions in France (CRIF), French Prime Minister Jean Castex considered that “Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish people,” saying he “has not stopped saying it.”

The French minister added that he would like the fight against anti-Semitism to be included in all projects of French higher education institutions.

He considered that “anti-Semitism is often the work of radical Islamists who make life difficult for the Jews of France and who sometimes kill.”

Jean Castex called for a “general mobilization of the entire society” to fight anti-Semitism, and promised “to continue the relentless struggle.”
