The US police announced that they are chasing a suspected armed man after finding 7 dead in two houses in Joliet, Illinois.
According to the American newspaper "Chicago Tribune", early Tuesday morning, the police are searching for Romeo Nance, who is believed to be driving a red Toyota Camry with license plate number "Q 730 Alfa 412", and he is considered armed and dangerous.
The police found the dead at homes in the 2200 complex on West Access Road, and closed the area between Madison Street and between Glenwood Road and Douglas Street, and the authorities expect the closure to continue for several hours.
Bill Evans, head of the Joliet police, confirmed the shooting deaths of 7 people.
Evans said: "Our hearts are with the families of the victims of this heinous crime.. We will do our best here at the Joliet Police Department to bring the responsible party to justice."
