Public Health in Ottawa reported three new deaths from the coronavirus in recent days, as noted during the update in the statistics of patients and deaths from the virus over the years of its outbreak, that 862 residents of Ottawa have died due to this pandemic since its beginning. It was also announced that the current number of residents in the hospital due to active infection is decreasing in conjunction with the number of outbreak cases, as the number of admitted patients dropped to 19 in today's report, Tuesday, August 16, 2022.
