The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the escalation of assaults and crimes by Israeli forces and settler militias and their terrorist elements against Palestinians, their land, properties, homes, and sanctities, the latest of which were the terrorist attacks by settlers under the protection of the occupation forces against unarmed civilians in the town of Qusra south of Nablus, and their assaults on sheep herders in the village of al-Mughayer east of Ramallah, in addition to their actions of cutting and uprooting 74 olive trees in the town of Ni'lin west of Ramallah.

The ministry demanded, during a statement conveyed by the Palestinian news agency "Wafa" today, Sunday, that the international community apply real international pressure to compel the Israeli government to stop all of its illegal unilateral actions, to rein in the settler militias and their terrorist organizations, dismantle them, and dry up their funding sources, holding the Israeli government headed by Benjamin Netanyahu fully and directly responsible for the assaults and attacks of the settler militias and their dangerous consequences on the conflict arena.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry noted that the weakness and low international reactions and positions towards the crimes and rampages of the settlers, and the failure to implement United Nations resolutions related to the Palestinian issue, reinforces the occupation and deepens the cycles of the apartheid system, encouraging extremist settlers and their terrorist organizations to commit more assaults against Palestinian citizens.
