Check your sunscreen products again before using them over the long weekend, as Health Canada has recalled several products across the country.

On Thursday, Health Canada recalled nine batches of Suntegrity Impeccable Skin Sunscreen Foundation due to the potential for fungal contamination. The agency did not specify how many tubes of the product were sold in Canada.

The federal agency advises Canadians to consult with their healthcare provider before discontinuing use of tinted sunscreens or if they have any health concerns. It did not mention whether anyone has reported any adverse reactions to the product, nor what those might be.

Suntegrity Skincare noted in an urgent online notice that it voluntarily recalled multiple shades of the sunscreen foundation on May 24 after "discovering a product lot that caused an unusual odor and a microbiological mold count higher than acceptable" after testing in one of many.

The company advised: "If you purchased this product directly from our website or from Amazon, please check the batch number located on the back of the tube in the upper crimp line where the tube is sealed."

The skincare line added that anyone who purchased the product can email the company directly with their order number, product lot number, name, and a picture of the tube for a refund.
