American media reported today, Saturday, the killing of 5 people in a shooting incident that occurred in Texas, indicating that the gunman is at large.

The American site "ABC News," quoting the police, said that 5 people were killed after being shot in a house.

The incident occurred around 11:31 PM local time when officials from the San Jacinto County Mayor's Office received a call about a possible shooting incident in Cleveland, Texas - a small town located about 55 miles north of Houston.

Authorities say the suspect was armed with an AR-15 rifle and was intoxicated.

They explained that they are looking for a Hispanic man about one and a half meters tall who was last seen wearing blue jeans with a black shirt and work boots, and is described as having black hair.

The police asked local residents in the Cleveland area in Texas to "stay indoors and stay away from the crime scene until the investigation is over."

The police did not disclose the suspect's identity, age, or possible relation but confirmed that all the shootings occurred in one house.

They pointed out that four of the victims died at the scene, while the other was killed after being transported to the hospital.
