Saudi Arabia announces the discovery of new gas fields in the east of the kingdom and the Empty Quarter

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the discovery of new natural gas fields in the Eastern Province of the country and in the Rub' al Khali, with a flow rate of up to 34 million cubic feet per day.

Saudi Energy Minister Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz said that one of the companies in Saudi Arabia discovered the "Al-Hayran" natural gas field, after gas flowed from the "Hunayfah" reservoir in the "Al-Hayran - 1" well at a rate of 30 million cubic feet per day, and 1600 barrels of condensates, in addition to gas flowing from the "Arab J" reservoir in the same field at a rate of 3.1 million cubic feet per day.

The company also discovered the "Al-Muhakik" natural gas field, after gas flowed from the "Al-Muhakik - 2" well at a rate of 0.85 million cubic feet per day.
