The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed on Monday evening the involvement of Russian hackers in cyber attacks, especially the attacks carried out against the organizers of the Tokyo Olympics, which have no relation to addressing the domestic community.
The ministry stated, according to its sources, that it is tired of commenting on such naive terms and empty statements that have nothing but ambiguity and emptiness, as well as a lack of rationality.
Clarifying that such statements aim to launch hostile cyber wars between them and influence the ongoing election campaigns in the United States of America, with Moscow threatening to respond to those empty accusations.
On its part, the US Department of Justice charged six Russian citizens today with carrying out cyber attacks and working on spreading malicious software aimed at destroying the infrastructure of other countries and also the Russian elections.
In the same context, Russia condemned the accusations directed at it, which aim to change the democratic processes in all diverse countries.
And the spokesman for the Russian presidency, Dmitry Peskov, pointed out that they have absolutely no basis.
And Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov concluded by saying "there is no evidence to support or document that."
