Lebanese Minister of Health: The death toll from the Beirut explosion rises to 135 people

Lebanese Minister of Health Hamad Hassan announced an increase in the number of deaths due to the devastating explosion, which occurred yesterday, Tuesday, at the Beirut seaport, reaching 135 people, while the number of injured has reached up to 5,000 injured.

The Lebanese Minister of Health – in a statement today, Wednesday – pointed out that there are dozens of missing persons whose disappearance has been reported to the ministry's central operations room, and their locations have not yet been determined.
