A Canadian government source said on Thursday that Canada has temporarily suspended non-lethal military exports to Israel since last January due to the rapidly evolving situation on the ground.
According to Reuters news agency, the source who requested anonymity due to the sensitivity of the situation did not provide further details.
This comes amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, which has caused the death of more than 31,000 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which is being subjected to air, land, and sea strikes simultaneously.
Israel threatens to invade the Palestinian city of Rafah under the pretext of completing the mission to eliminate Hamas, which launched an attack on settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip on October 7, resulting in the killing of 1,200 Israelis and the capture of 250 others.
