An Israeli association specializing in occupation soldiers' affairs reported that 10,000 occupation soldiers are suffering from mental illness, and 70,000 student soldiers are struggling with their studies in universities and academic degrees due to the ongoing call-up for fighting in Gaza and the occupied north.

The Jerusalem Post mentioned, citing the Nivgarshim association, that in addition to the academically struggling and mentally ill, 1,000 occupation soldiers have lost their businesses, and thousands of them have been fired from their jobs due to being preoccupied with the war.

The association continued, stating that on the social front, several occupation soldiers had their engagements broken off due to the difficulties in preparing for marriage as a result of participating in the fighting.

The association clarified that about 45% of the occupation soldiers they spoke to confirmed their intention not to respond to the call-up for fighting again to avoid further losses.

David Solomon, the director of the association, urged the occupation government to provide more support for the soldiers so that they do not feel neglected by the state during a difficult time like wartime.
