The Desjardins Bank stated that it is facing technical issues "across all our services," according to a notice on its website.
There are attempts to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
The outage affected many credit union services, while customers may have struggled to carry out transactions.
Chantal Corbeil, the company's spokesperson, said in a press statement that the outage, linked to a network equipment issue, caused instability and intermittently affected services such as AccèsD.
Desjardins indicates that customers' funds were not at risk.
