Canadian airline Porter Airlines launched a daily nonstop service from Ottawa International Airport to the three airports on Monday as part of its expansion plan for the capital.
Porter will offer one direct flight daily from Ottawa to Boston, and two daily flights from YOW to Thunder Bay and Ottawa to Newark.
The new daily service will use the 78-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft.
For his part, Mark Laroche, President of Ottawa International Airport Authority, said in a statement: “Porter Airlines continues to impress us with its commitment to Ottawa-Gatineau.”
It is noted that Porter Airlines currently operates eight nonstop routes from Ottawa International Airport, and on May 17, it will launch a direct service from Ottawa to Charlottetown.
