The Montreal Police (SPVM) found a "suspicious vehicle" they say may be linked to a deadly shooting incident that occurred on Tuesday.
At around 10:40 AM on Wednesday, a call was made to the police regarding an abandoned car at Canora and Franklin streets in the town of Mount Royal. A SPVM spokesperson said the car may belong to a suspect in the case.
Returning to the events of the case, gunfire erupted on Tuesday at the Rockland Shopping Center targeting a 44-year-old man who was sent to the hospital but later died from his injuries on the same day.
The police say the investigation is ongoing as the Rockland incident was one of two fatal shootings in Montreal on Tuesday afternoon, where less than an hour after the first incident, the second victim, Diego Fiorita, 50 years old, was shot on Ontario Street near Saint-Denis Street in the Latin Quarter of Montreal.
