The Prime Minister of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, attacked the Russian President Vladimir Putin for the invasion of Ukrainian territories and described him as "more dangerous than Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin."

Morawiecki's remarks came in an interview with the British newspaper "The Telegraph," published yesterday Wednesday, in which he spoke about what he called the Russian president's "brutal ideology" that poses a danger to Europe.

He said: "Putin is unfortunately more dangerous than both (Hitler and Stalin). The arsenal of weapons that Putin possesses is 'deadlier' than those owned by both Hitler and Stalin," adding that Putin also has the internet at his disposal, which he has "contaminated with millions of cases of fake news."

He called on the international community to "immediately focus efforts on saving Ukraine from Putin's dominance," considering that his ideology known as "Russian peace" constitutes a destructive threat to the whole of Europe.

He emphasized the necessity of a radical eradication of what he described as Putin's "brutal ideology," which constitutes a deadly threat to Europe according to his expression.

He added that this ideology rivals communism and Nazism in the 20th century. Through it, Russia justifies the rights and privileges it sees as its own. It is the basis of the "special historical mission" of the Russian people, as Putin states.

The Polish Prime Minister also commented on the speech Putin gave on "Victory Day" this week, noting that Putin "once again presented to the world the myths of Russia's victory over Nazism. Ignoring the fact that while the Red Army defeated Nazi Germany, it brought slavery to many countries."

He explained that the West then chose to reach a settlement with Stalin "despite being aware that this settlement was a deal with the devil. Central and Eastern Europe as a whole paid the price for that settlement."

The Polish Prime Minister considered that "the recent Russian aggression on Ukraine has made all of Europe wonder whether the foundations of its freedom are still stable and sound," and he urged Ukraine's allies to "offer more than just military support" to it, without further details on this matter.
