The "X" social media platform has blocked several new accounts linked to Hamas amid the escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
A statement issued by the platform's security apparatus said: "As part of our strategy concerning... actors that incite hatred... we have taken action to remove recently created accounts associated with Hamas."
The statement also mentioned that the "X" platform is trying to prevent the spread of "terrorism-related materials," adding that action has been taken against tens of thousands of messages containing aggressive statements and shocking images.
It continued: "We are actively monitoring antisemitic statements."
