In a first-of-its-kind step in Canada, a group of active Palestinian community members in the field of defending the Palestinian cause, calling themselves the "Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement," announced in a media statement received by Arab Canada News via email that they have launched a new website for their conference to be held in the Canadian capital Ottawa in April, stating:
The "Alternative Palestinian Revolutionary Path Movement" announced the launch of the media site for its first conference in North America, titled "Palestine Conference… A Vision for Liberation:

The conference will be held in the Canadian capital Ottawa from April 28 – 30 under the slogan "Confronting Colonialism and Zionism" and "Together Towards a United International Front."
Through organizing the conference, according to a statement issued today, Sunday, the "Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement" seeks to "form a global front alliance to build on the achievements of the (Madrid) 2021 and (Brussels) 2022 conferences and to establish an anti-American imperialism front in cooperation with Black and Indigenous liberation movements," according to the statement text.
According to the statement, the conference aims to "develop a new struggle strategy in North America to resist imperialism and confront it more effectively, and to expand the participation of Palestinian exiles for the unity of the Palestinian liberation movement at home and in the diaspora," as expressed in the statement.
The "Alternative Palestinian Revolutionary Path Movement" has decided to organize a popular demonstration on the last day of the conference, while the "Ottawa Declaration" will be issued the following day coinciding with "International Workers' Day" on May 1.
It is worth mentioning that such conferences require approvals from the competent institutions concerned with this matter, and it seems that the organizers have obtained all the necessary permits related to holding this conference, as the conference period has been set from April 28 - 30 of this year.
