Ottawa Mayor Mark Sutcliffe shares his condolences on the death of former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney
The Mulroney family said on Thursday that he passed away peacefully at the age of 84.
Sutcliffe posted on social media to say he was very sorry to hear the news of Mulroney’s death.
He wrote: "My deepest condolences to the entire Mulroney family on this profound loss."
He added, "Flags will be lowered to half-mast at all Ottawa city facilities."
Many politicians and prominent individuals are sharing their condolences following Mulroney's death.
Former Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson also posted on social media to share his condolences.
