Sleeping Giant Provincial Park in Ontario offers perfect trails for visitors ready for hiking.

The park contains more than 100 kilometers of scenic trails.

The Kabeyun Trail is the longest in the park, ideal for hiking or biking, and the trip on this trail takes about 6 hours on foot, or 4 hours by bike.

Park fees:

Sleeping Giant is one of Ontario's parks, where it is recommended to purchase an entry pass in advance, noting that reservations open up to 5 days in advance.

Regular parking tickets cost between $12 and $24, and you can also consider a summer season park entry permit for $85.

Where to stay overnight:

Sleeping Giant is located about an hour south of Thunder Bay, and the park offers more than 200 campsites and roofed accommodations including drive-in camping options. If you want to stay overnight to enjoy a longer visit to the park, book a permit in advance online.

Where to eat nearby:

Thunder Bay is full of restaurants serving delicious food.

How to get there:

If you do not live near the park, a flight with Porter or Rouge from Toronto is a great and quick option, as the park is located one hour south of Thunder Bay.

You need a car to reach the park, so if you are not a local resident, there are many car rental companies.
