Cindy Stolk, 54, from Ontario was found deceased after being at Big Otter Creek in Port Burwell, Ontario on Saturday.
OPP, EMS, and Bayham Fire responded to Big Otter Marina and Campground after receiving a call around 6:10 PM for a missing person last seen around 2:00 PM.
Harry Baranik, Fire Chief of Bayham, said they found an article of clothing where she was last seen.
A search was conducted in the water at the location of the clothing, and she was found thereafter.
Attempts were made to revive the woman, but she passed away around 6:40 PM. An OPP vehicle was stationed all evening on the dock along Big Otter Creek.
The police stated that the woman drowned beside her boat and that no charges have been filed against any suspects.
