Qatar is making efforts to release 10-15 hostages held by the "Hamas" movement in exchange for a ceasefire for one or two days in the Gaza Strip.
AFP agency quoted a knowledgeable source, on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the talks, that Qatari-mediated negotiations are currently underway in coordination with the United States to secure the release of 10-15 hostages in exchange for a temporary ceasefire for one or two days in Gaza.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced an increase in the number of martyrs due to the ongoing Israeli bombing of the strip for the second month to 10,569 martyrs, and 26,475 injured. The ministry stated that among the martyrs there are 4,324 children, 2,823 women, and 649 elderly.
Meanwhile, the occupation authorities confirmed that the "Hamas" attack on October 7 resulted in more than 1,400 deaths in Israel, and the taking of more than 240 hostages.
