The military council in Niger announced today, Wednesday, a state of maximum alert following a French attack on a National Guard site and a violation of the country's airspace.

The military council in Niger accused France today, Wednesday, of "violating" the airspace, causing communication disruptions for hours, and also accused Paris of releasing "terrorists" to carry out operations against the council.

The spokesman for the coup leaders in Niger, Amadou Abdulrahman, stated that France is involved in attacks aimed at destabilizing Niger, confirming that it released around 16 terrorists individually to threaten security.

He added that a French plane taking off from Chad disrupted communications for hours, noting that the army forces are in a state of maximum alert and "we call on the people to rally around the army."

In contrast, Paris denied the military council's accusations of violating airspace and releasing terrorists.
