Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said this evening, Saturday, October 7, 2023: This is a painful day for all of us and Hamas wants to kill us.
Netanyahu said: Hamas has started a brutal and criminal war, and we will win this war, and the price will be severe.
He added: "What happened today is unprecedented, and the Israeli army will take revenge and strike Hamas relentlessly."
He confirmed that the Israeli army is currently continuing to cleanse the areas surrounding Gaza.
Netanyahu held Hamas responsible for the safety of every Israeli hostage they have.
He revealed: I spoke with President Biden and several world leaders to ensure freedom of action in responding to Hamas.
Netanyahu continued: This war will take time, and we still have grave days ahead.
On the other hand, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted on platform X: "I am deeply shocked by the news of the terrorist attacks in Israel."
Adding, "Our thoughts and prayers are with the innocent victims and their families. We stand in solidarity with Israel in this difficult hour."
