American billionaire Elon Musk predicted that former President Donald Trump would end up in the White House in 2024 if he is indicted by prosecutors in Manhattan.
Musk said in a tweet: "If this happens, Trump will be re-elected in a landslide victory."
Musk's tweet came at a time when Trump announced on his own platform Truth Social that "illegal leaks" from the Manhattan District Attorney's office Alvin Bragg indicate that he "will be arrested on Tuesday."
The comment from the Twitter CEO and the richest man in the world was in response to a "Fox News" clip that detailed how Trump could be "restrained," "fingerprinted and processed," and "escorted to the courtroom."
Fox News also reported that law enforcement authorities are looking into how to carry out Trump's arrest if the decision is issued and are discussing it with his security team.
Security preparations:
The law enforcement office and the Secret Service were discussing the "logistics" and "security preparations" for how the arrest would take place.
Since acquiring Twitter, Musk has reinstated hundreds of previously banned accounts, including Trump's account.
The former president was also recently allowed to access YouTube after a two-year suspension.
