The police are investigating a fatal vehicle fire incident in Brant County, Ontario on Wednesday afternoon.
Brant County Police said in a press release that they received a report of a fire in a single vehicle around 2:30 PM on Cockshutt Road south of Brantford, Ontario.
The police added that when emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found a fully engulfed vehicle with one occupant inside, and the police believe that the vehicle's occupant died from their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, and the police have not released any further details about the deceased.
The police stated that Cockshutt Road is closed between Hagan Road and Porcupine Road, including the intersection of Cockshutt Indian Road.
The police are asking drivers to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
