Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promised to achieve a confidence agreement between his Liberal Party and the New Democratic Party, and presented a number of proposals on this matter to achieve electoral reform, providing a greater opportunity for people to cast their votes.

Both the Liberals and the New Democrats agreed to allow an extended voting period of up to three days

during the general elections, and also to provide voters the opportunity to cast their votes at any polling place near their area.

Including making mail-in voting better, while maintaining transparency and integrity.
The negotiations between the two parties are led by the Minister of Public Safety and Democratic Institutions, “Dominic LeBlanc.”

As well as the New Democratic Party MP Daniel Blaikie, who stated in a television interview

that a reasonable amount of work has been completed to achieve several amendments to the Canadian Elections Act.

Although there is no comprehensive reform of the federal voting system, as promised by Justin Trudeau

there are a number of electoral reform proposals aimed at reaching the largest number of people to provide expanded voting opportunities.
